IAM ACTIOn: Project Management for Artists
Join Kam (pronounced "calm", they/them) on an exploration of how to build a sustainable arts practice by managing your creative outputs elegantly and with purpose. You'll walk away with easy to use toolkits as well as a newfound love of spreadsheets. Feel free to bring along your own device and/or notebook as we get hands on with technology. Laptops and writing materials will also be available during the session. This two hour workshop will be followed immediately after with an open "office hour" with Kam, where you can ask them any and all organizing questions!
MEET YOUR MENTOR
kam
Kam (pronounced "calm", they/them) is a multi-disciplinary artist and operations manager. They train artists and organizations on how to improve and build interconnected systems that increase workload visibility and collaboration. When not designing, Kam can be found making music under the artist name Seeking Safety, or resting at home with good food and company.
