MEET YOUR MENTOR:

Celeste Ovita Cole is a Toronto-based artist, facilitator, and producer. Her practice moves across mediums such as photography, mixed media, textile, writing, and print. And has for over a decade. Photography is the one she keeps returning to. It feeds everything else. Less focused on output, more on what it uncovers.

She approaches facilitation as an art form. Appreciating a final result but more interested in what the process does to you.

She has facilitated programs with CultureLink, Right to Play, and JAYU, Koffler Centre of the Arts, among others. Her photography has been commissioned by Canada's National Ballet School and exhibited at Gallery 44, where she is a member. She co-created Recess, a Toronto-based creative community currently led by Shanik Tanna, for people exploring their creative curiosity.
